APLICLOR WATER SOLUTIONS, S.A, after more than 100 years of history, has the mission to create value for our clients by offering and providing solutions in the field of Water Quality Management. In pursuit of its differentiation in the market, it adopts a policy that places full importance on and considers Quality, respect for the Environment, the prevention of Occupational Risks, and Serious Accidents as key aspects of its activity, products, services, facilities, and processes.
The company has implemented an Integrated Management System for Quality, the Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, and the Prevention of Serious Accidents, according to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards and current regulations for controlling the risks associated with hazardous substances. This aims to achieve continuous improvement in processes, prevent pollution, damage, and the deterioration of health, reaffirming our maxim of ALWAYS DOING THE SAFEST JOB.
Management incorporates, as part of strategic decisions, the principles and objectives of this Policy, in accordance with its commitment to ensure the allocation of the necessary resources, both human and organisational, to:
- Ensure an efficient process management system for Quality, Safety, Prevention of Serious Accidents, and Occupational Health, through the application of an Integrated Management System aimed at prevention, control, and minimisation of incidents in activities, products, services, facilities, and processes.
- Ensure the commitments required by the reference standards:
• Eliminate hazards and reduce risks.
• Protect the environment by preventing pollution.
• Provide safe and healthy working conditions to prevent injuries and deterioration of health.
• Involve and consult employees on matters affecting workplace safety and healt. - Incorporate risk management as a fundamental aspect of our decision-making, as well as ensure the commitment to establish effective systems for identifying and controlling risks, both environmental and occupational safety and serious accidents, taking into account hazardous substances, processes, and facilities involved, in order to adopt the correct protective measures, using control priorities that minimise potential consequences.
- Actively promote our personnel, contractors, and suppliers through training, motivation, awareness-raising, and participative initiatives in fulfilling these principles.
- Respect the principle of equal treatment and opportunities between individuals, regardless of gender.
- Guarantee Management’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy regarding the consumption of alcohol, drugs, and other substances in the workplace, as well as any conduct or attitude that constitutes sexual harassment and/or gender-based harassment.
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our activities, products, services, and facilities in the areas of safety, the environment, the prevention of serious accidents, and the prevention of occupational risks.
To develop and update the Quality, Environment, Safety, Prevention of Serious Accidents, and Occupational Health Policy, Management undertakes the commitment to define Quality, Environmental, and Safety and Health Objectives that are consistent with this policy and to review them in the continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Code of conduct for Apliclor suppliers.
The Code of Conduct for Suppliers defines the basic requirements for suppliers, both of services and materials, to Apliclor Water Solutions (APLICLOR) in relation to their responsibilities towards all stakeholders and the environment.
APLICLOR reserves the right to reasonably change the requirements of this Code of Conduct, in which case APLICLOR expects the supplier to accept them.
This code will be kept up to date through the company’s website, which can be accessed at http://apliclor.com/politica-de-empresa/. The Supplier hereby DECLARES:
- Ethical Conduct:
• Conduct its business activities in an ethical manner with commercial integrity. - Compliance with the Law:
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and other requirements. - Prohibition of Corruption and Bribery:
• Not tolerate or engage in any form of corruption or bribery, including any payment or other form of benefit provided to any APLICLOR employee with the intention of influencing their decisions in violation of the law. - Respect for the Basic Human Rights of Employees:
• Promote equal opportunities in the treatment of employees regardless of their skin colour, race, nationality, social origin, disability, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs, gender, or age.
• Respect the personal dignity, privacy, and rights of each individual.
• Not tolerate any unacceptable treatment of employees, such as mental cruelty, sexual harassment, or discrimination.
• Prohibit any behaviour, including gestures, language, and physical contact, that is sexual, coercive, threatening, abusive, or exploitative.
• Provide fair remuneration and ensure the application of the statutory minimum wage.
• Not exceed the maximum working hours established by applicable laws.
