Filtration

Bed filtration is one of the usual stages of most water treatment systems. This process consists of the retention of any possible particles contained in a body of water, by the filtering mass.

One of the most important factors of any bed filtration system is the backwash once its retention power is exhausted. The nature and technology used to distribute the air and backwash water homogeneously through the entire filter bed are of paramount importance. For this purpose, Apliclor Water Solutions has the “LP Block” system.

The system consists of a high density polyethylene plastic body, with a retention plate on its upper side, highly resistant, and easy to install. This system also allows simultaneous backwashing with water and air, ensuring uniform distribution and a complete backwash of the entire filtering mass.
